Sam Diaz’s 17 years of experience cover a broad range of civil engineering projects, from land development to public works to hydropower. For the last 9 years he has been practicing as an ecoengineer, focusing on multi-objective water resource and ecosystem rehabilitation projects at the interface between water and land.  His expertise includes salmonid habitat restoration, river channel rehabilitation, floodplain connectivity and levee setback projects, biotechnical bank stabilization, hydromodification studies, and reservoir sedimentation studies.  He is typically involved in river rehabilitation, and working with levee and levee setback projects.
