Jeffrey Holt – Restoration Biologist, River Partners

Jeff has over 13 years of experience in wildlife biology and habitat restoration focused in the Central Valley of California. Mr. Holt has worked for River Partners since 2012, and is responsible for projects out of their Turlock California office and has experience in the various phases of restoration-planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and reporting on multiple projects encompassing over 2,500 acres. He has managed site assessments, developed restoration plans, implemented habitat restoration, as well as conducted vegetation and wildlife monitoring, in addition to public outreach events.

Prior to joining River Partners Jeff was a wildlife biologist with the California State University Stanislaus, Endangered Species Recovery Program (ESRP), working on the recovery of the endangered Riparian Brush rabbit. During his service with ESRP, Mr. Holt trapped and handled thousands of brush rabbits and hundreds of woodrats. He received a bachelor's degree in Biological Science from California State University Stanislaus in 2006.

Mr. Holt currently holds a California Department of Fish and Wildlife Scientific Collecting Permit and a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service 10(a)(1)(A) Recovery Permit to capture and mark Brush Rabbits and Woodrats.
