Wendy Katagi, Sr. Manager, Watershed and Ecosystem Restoration Services
Wendy Katagi, C.E.P. is a Certified Environmental Professional  leading the Los Angeles office covering the southern California region.  She has managed award-winning integrated watershed and ecosystem restoration projects in the Arroyo Seco, Santa Ana River, and Los Angeles River Watersheds, emphasizing the recovery of threatened and endangered species.  Wendy has extensive experience in watershed planning, natural resource management, water resource management, stormwater management, and green infrastructure.  She is adept at managing  integrated design teams, regulatory compliance documentation, grant funding, facilitating stakeholder involvement, and overseeing construction monitoring services.  She is currently working on a Trails Plan for the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District as part of an Integrated Wash Plan as well as grant funding, NEPA/CEQA compliance, and permitting for southern steelhead trout recovery projects.  Wendy has extensive experience in obtaining grant funding, totaling over $240 million to produce integrated water resource management projects—encouraging multiple partnerships throughout the state of California.  When she isn’t working on watersheds, Wendy enjoys singing, running with her Coton Bellamy, and hanging out with family.
