Ian Howell, Resource Conservationist, Alameda County Resource Conservation District 

Ian joined the District in December 2013, bringing a strong interest in supporting working lands to his work in the Alameda Creek watershed.  Ian comes to the Conservation Partnership from the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission.  His past volunteer work includes conservation research on industrial timerlands, as well as assignments with the U.S. EPA and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.  Ian received a Master of Enviornmental Studies degree in 2012 from the University of Pennsylvania, where he concurrenly earned a certificate in land preservation.
